                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE EAST
                   BRAINERD AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN, ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1992 FROM
                   8:00 A.M. TO 10:00 A.M. FOR THE "TURKEY TROT
                   ROAD RACE" SPONSORED BY THE SPORTS BARN-
                   EAST, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Lee Highway
       between Vance Road and Chickamauga Road, the temporary closing of 

       Chickamauga Road between Lee Highway and East Brainerd Road, the
       temporary closing of Bass Road between East Brainerd Road and
       Brown Road, Brown Road between Bass Road and Osborne Drive,
       Osborne Drive between Brown Road and Benham Drive, the temporary
       closing of Benham Drive between Osborne Drive and East Brainerd
       Road, the eastbound shoulder of East Brainerd Road between Benham 

       Road and Osborne Drive, Osborne Drive between East Brainerd Road
       and Nicklin Drive, Nicklin Drive between Osborne Drive and Bass
       Road on Thursday, November 26, 1992 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
       for the presentation of the "Turkey Trot Road Race" under the
       sponsorship of the Sports Barn-East provided that the sponsor
       shall set out traffic cones and advance warning signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.
